15-T SERIES:
two-station, shuttle type sealers designed for low
to medium production, featuring shuttles on each
side, allowing operators to alternate sealing
packages. These systems are commonly used for
sealing conventional carded blister packs but can
also be used in medical and/or pharmaceutical
applications utilizing Tyvek, foil, thin plastic,
laminated film stock, etc.
15-DLX:
two-station, shuttle type system featuring
improved operating efficiencies, heavier duty
frame, roller slide tray system and requires less
floor space than previous models. Quick-change
tooling is simply placed over the locating pins on
the slider tray, allowing changeovers to be made
in SECONDS and reducing overall tooling costs! |

Z-MED:
The Z-MED
is a medical grade tabletop heat sealer designed
for operation in a clean room. This unit features
digital controls for easy calibration and
validation. The stainless steel slide pan
eliminates particulates while providing ease of
operation. The high seal force and precision
platen makes this unit ideal for sealing
pharmaceutical packages, tyvek lidded trays,
foils, pill packages, child resistant packages,
etc.
15-TM SERIES:
The model 15-TM is a heat sealer with a 4-post
press designed specifically for precision
specialty sealing applications. The 15-TM is
designed with standard seal areas of 14"x15",
14"x20" and 20"x24" (larger sizes available).
Typical applications include: blister/trays with
Tyvek lidstock for the medical industry, foil pill
packs, child resistant packs, specialty films and
custom sealing applications. |

SERIES: Available in four (4), six (6)
and eight (8) station systems designed for medium
to high volume production. Locating pins on the
aluminum turntable allow for the use of
quick-change tools (typically manufactured from
maple die board, phenolic or aluminum). These
units are typically used for conventional carded
blister packs but can also be manufactured to
operate in medical and pharmaceutical
environments. |

Clamshell Sealers:
Increase your speed with Zed Industries new
clamshell sealers Model 15-RS-6-P and 15-111-P.
These systems replace expensive slow cycling RF or
impulse tooling with high speed systems cycling at
rates of over 16 cycles per minute. Low cost
tooling can be manufactured locally and changed in
a matter of minutes. These systems may also be
utilized for sealing conventional blisters or mock
clamshells. |

The ZED 15-111 Series are conveyor type heat
sealers designed specifically for high volume
packaging applications. These systems are
available with a servo-driven chain system or
belt drive in various sizes to meet actual
production and package size requirements.
The 15-111A features a servo driven chain
system, precision four-post heat seal press
(with precision ground platens and long bushings
to ensure parallelism), a touch screen operator
interface panel for fast setup and adjustment of
operating parameters/sequences and is also
available in different lengths for the addition
of automatic feeders and/or additional product
loading stations.
The model 15-111S is equipped with a standard
index registered belt system and is available in
various lengths and with options (automatic card
feeder, sensors, digital timers, etc.) to
further automate and help improve production
efficiencies. |

Seal-N-Trim:
Exclusive to the Zed line of packaging equipment
the seal-n-trim process is suitable for
conventional blisters, trays, medical packs, and
other carded packages. Machinery is available in
several formats including tabletop, shuttle, and
inline systems. Master blisters with cards reduce
loading times and increase productivity as well as
profits.
The 15-ST Series machines are designed for high
volume production of packages requiring
simultaneous sealing and hydraulic trimming. A
pre-formed multiple #-up blister sheet is
typically used with cardstock. Tyvek, foil, etc.,
sealed and trimmed into individual packages in one
step. These systems are available in various
lengths and with numerous options to custom tailor
a machine to meet almost any requirement. |

Custom Engineered Heat
Sealing Systems:
Custom engineered
systems come in a variety of configurations
including rotary, inline, shuttle, and carousel
configurations. Automatic part placement, vision,
labeling, printing and lidding are all possible.
Multiple operations such as mock clamshell, carded
blister sealing and lidding may all be
accomplished on a single system. Seal areas range
in size from 10" x 10" to as large as 4' x 6'.

MODEL EZB: This
single sided, tabletop heat sealer is designed for
low to medium production requirements where space
and size are a consideration. The EZB utilizes low
cost, quick-change seal tools. Typical application
includes standard carded blister packages, but the
machine can also be configured to seal Tyvek,
foils, thin plastic and laminated film lid stocks. |

Heat seal tools are manufactured for a variety of
applications including pharmaceutical, wallet
pack, child resistant pack, blisters, clamshells,
etc. These tools can be manufactured from
aluminum, maple die board, and Delron with gaskets
of silicone or cork. Tooling for non-Zed machinery
is made as well. |
